(\u201cFocus\u201d or the \u00ab\u00a0Company\u00a0\u00bb) (TSX-V: <b>FMS; <\/b>OTCQX<b>: FCSMF; <\/b>FSE<b>: FKC<\/b>), an advanced exploration company focused on the production of graphite concentrate, today announced that the Company has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Investissement Qu\u00e9bec to sell the Company\u2019s 50% interest in the Kwyjibo rare earth elements Project to Investissement Qu\u00e9bec for the sum of C$7,237,696.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The project, totalling 116 map-designated claims (CDC) and covering 6,283.5 ha, is located a few kilometres north of Manitou Lake, approximately 125 km northeast of Sept-\u00celes, in the C\u00f4te-Nord administrative district of Qu\u00e9bec. The Kwyjibo claim block is also located 25 km east of the Qu\u00e9bec North Shore and Labrador (QNSL) rail line and is accessible by air from float plane and helicopter bases located in or near Sept-\u00celes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Gary Economo, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Graphite commented, \u201cWe are extremely pleased today to announce the signing of the letter of intent with Investissement <span class=\"s1\">Qu\u00e9bec<\/span> to sell Focus Graphite\u2019s 50% interest in the Kwyjibo Project. We believe the sale of this asset <span class=\"s2\">will unlock significant value to our shareholders and allow Focus Graphite to prioritize its resources on the remaining projects in our development pipeline.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cInvestissement Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s acquisition of Focus Graphite\u2019s stake in the Kwyjibo project opens the door to creating business opportunities in the global rare earths market while maintaining Qu\u00e9bec ownership of the project.
